Bürgermeister Mag. Alexander Vojta und Stadtamtsdirektorin Gerda Hirschhofer berichten in der mittlerweile 15. Videobotschaft zur aktuellen Lage der Corona-Krise in Gerasdorf bei Wien.
Nicht nur in Österreich steigen die Zahlen der Corona-Infizierten im Moment sehr stark an. Auch unsere Stadtgemeinde hat die 2. Welle voll erfasst. Wir halten im Moment bei 16 infizierten Personen.
Bürgermeister Alexander Vojta appelliert an die Bevölkerung: Bitte vermeiden Sie Halloween-Parties! Egal, wo sie stattfinden! Sie könnten zu einem Horrorszenario führen: Die Superspreader-Ereignisse! Bleiben Sie bitte zuhause im Kreise Ihrer Familie, ohne mit fremden Personen in Kontakt zu kommen. Zeigen Sie Verantwortung!
Die Stadtgemeinde hat nun weitere Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung des Coronavirus gesetzt:
- Die außerschulische Benutzung der Turnsäle wird ab November eingestellt.
- Jede Abteilung im Rathaus ist derzeit nur mit einer Person besetzt. Die MitarbeiterInnen und Mitarbeiter arbeiten im Homeoffice. Dies dient der Sicherstellung des Verwaltungsbetriebes.

Video message: current situation of the Corona crisis
In what is now their 15th video message, Mayor Mag. Alexander Vojta and Municipal Services Director Gerda Hirschhofer reported on the current situation of the Corona crisis in Gerasdorf-bei-Wien.
Not only is the number of corona infections currently increasing very sharply on a national level, our municipality has also been engulfed by the second wave. There are currently 16 people infected.
Mayor Alexander Vojta appealed to the general public: "Please avoid Halloween parties; no matter where they take place! They could lead to a real horror scenario: Superspreader Events! Please stay at home with your family; avoid coming into contact with strangers. Act responsibly!”
The municipality has now taken further measures to contain the Corona virus:
- The use of the gymnasiums outside of school will be discontinued from November onwards.
- Each department in the town hall is currently only occupied by one person. The staff are working from home. This will ensure that administrative operations can continue effectively.
